Get to know Fredrik:

I feel most comfortable in development projects where I have the opportunity to explore interesting systems and technology while at the same time, through my engagement, curiosity and knowledge, being able to contribute and deliver value. My ability to quickly gain an understanding of an existing code base, the development environment and my self starting approach, enables me to rapidly get into new assignments and deliver results.

I seek to work on assignments where I can be close to the technology. Software development in embedded systems and especially within function and algorithm development are areas where I can excel. This ties on to my previous experiences and knowledge gained from other assignments and from my background as a Master of Science in Engineering Physics where I focused especially on control engineering and signal processing. These areas are close to my heart and when I work with that I feel truly at home!

Consultant, Algorithm Developer
Aug 2016 – present
Developing calibration algorithms for mono and stereo camera systems based on image processing. Implementation in C, with tooling and prototyping mostly in Python. Agile way of working.

Developer in the team handling requirements and support for LTE test tools. Functioned as interface towards an external supplier and coordinated the use of their integration lab environment.

Developed and maintained the software component providing aircraft simulation to all simulators for a specific airplane type. Delivering a component with many internal customers and stakeholders required a good sense for seeing the bigger picture. Implementation in Ada, C and tooling in Python. Agile way of working.

Took part in a research project where different companies came together to enable more efficient requirement management and traceability. Since the project spanned over multiple companies activities, the importance of traceability in the automotive industry was highlidhted. My focus was on the migration of data between tools, mainly via XML.

Temporary project employment. Analyzed and developed the algorithm for underwater detection of divers via ultra sound.
