Karin is a technically knowledgeable people person who contributes to a positive and productive atmosphere. Karin describes herself as positive, attentive and target oriented. She is motivated by constantly being challenged both in her professional and private capacity. Karin has a Master of Science in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering  System on Chip (SoC) from the Technical Faculty at Linköping University.

Karin’s ambition is to continue developing as an engineer and human in a technically oriented workspace that she finds interesting and challenging and she gladly takes on technically leading roles where she get to combine her love of technology with her excellent managerial skills.

The feedback that Karin has received from colleagues is that she generates positive energy for her surroundings and that she with her very good technical knowledge and managerial skill has proven a god ability to cooperate and drive work forward in an inspiring and engaging way. Karin is a curious problem solver to her very core who works in a very structurally organised manner. She has a strong will, while simultaneously being very open and receptive to the thoughts and ideas of others.

In her spare time Karin is very active, during her student days she was involved in many side projects. Amongst other things she was the cashier in the Student Spex, on the board of LinTek and also a student representative on the committee for school cooperation in Linköping. The committee worked on raising the interest for technology in the young and to create a better cooperation between schools in the vicinity and the University. Today Karin has an interest in triathlon but also in music and acting. She has previously had the leading role in several plays, she is active in an acapella group, sings at weddings and plays the trombone.

Function Leader

2018 – present

The role of Function Leader includes technology leadership around the development of a function in navigation. This requires a deep technical knowledge as the work entails both a technical responsibility and a responsibility for planning and execution of development work including everything frim domain specific data chains to estimation algorithms.

Product Owner

2017 – 2018

Product Owner and Team Leader for a team of six people focusing on system development. The role entailed being the prime contact towards other teams, both software teams in the same department and teams in other departments. The Team leader role included coordination and planning of the team’s work items. As one of two product owners work entailing responsibility for the continual development executed by five design and implementation teams, was done. This resulted in better prognosis, clearer planning and a higher ratio of successful deadlines versus requirements fulfillments.

System Engineer

2016 – 2017

The role included work regarding requirements, design, and verification of an areonautical navigation system. Also functional responsibility for a minor part function with comprehensive responsibility for its development. The work was done agile using both Scrum and Kanban. As time progressed this role was combined with the roles of Team Leader, Product Owner, Functional Leader and Project Manager.
